Dr. Nick Angel serves as Superintendent of Grass Lake Community Schools in Grass Lake, Michigan. Appointed in 2024, he brings more than two decades of experience in public education as a teacher, assistant principal, principal, and district leader. Prior to becoming superintendent, Dr. Angel served as principal of Chelsea High School and previously held leadership positions at both the middle and high school levels within the Chelsea School District. Throughout his career, he has been recognized for his commitment to student achievement, community engagement, innovative learning opportunities, and building strong school cultures. Dr. Angel holds a Doctor of Education degree and is dedicated to preparing students for success through a balance of academic excellence, community values, and forward-thinking educational practices
